Korean Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (ISSN 0374-8111) is published by the Korean Society of Fisheires and Aquatic Science (KOSFAS).

The regulations for acceptance of a manuscript for publication automatically include the consent of the author(s) to transfer the copyright or license to the Korean Society of Fisheries and Aquatic Science. Authors will complete a Affirmation of Originality and Assignment of Copyright (AOAC) form at the time of proofreading. The corresponding author can sign on behalf of co-authors. The AOAC can be downloaded from the Manuscripts Center (http://www.kosfas.or.kr), or obtained from the editorial office. Acceptance of the agreement will ensure full copyright protection and help to disseminate the article to the widest possible readership in print and electronic formats. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources. The authors assure that no substantial part of the work has been published or is being considered for publication elsewhere. When any of the results are to appear in another journal, details must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief, together with a copy of the other paper(s) and the expected date(s) of publication.

Transfer of Copyright Agreement
The copyright transfer agreement must be signed and returned to the Editorial Office before the manuscript can be published. The author(s) represent and warrant the follows:
    - that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis);

    - that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, of any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out;

    - that, if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the authors agree to the automatic transfer of the copyright to the publisher;

    - that the manuscript will not be published elsewhere in any languate without the consent of the copyright holders; and

    - that written permission of the copyright holder is obtained by the authors for material used from other copyrighted sources.
